The sophistication, power and transportability of weapons of mass destruction (nuclear, chemical and biological) make the threat real that a few armed fanatics can hold whole nations to ransom.
The answer from God:

For to us a child is born,

to us a son is given,

and the government will be on his shoulders.

And he will be called

Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God,

Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.

Of the increase of his government and peace

there will be no end.

He will reign on David's throne

and over his kingdom,

establishing and upholding it

with justice and righteousness

from that time on and forever.

The zeal of the LORD Almighty

will accomplish this.

Thailand's southernmost region is now the daily scene of brutal killings. Though the church has not yet been targeted, one believer has been killed and several injured. People try to be careful, always 'looking over their shoulder' at who is around. Satan is behind it all, but Jesus has overcome the world no matter what happens! Believers are standing firm in the faith, learning to trust God and be less affected by the fear. The Christians are very close to the community, befriending very needy children and adults, both mixed up with alcohol, gambling and worse. Two ladies, whose husbands were murdered randomly by terrorists while riding their motorbikes, bring their children to kid’s activities. A third lady brings her two nephews, orphaned in the same way. These people are drawn to the warmth and care of the Christians.
