[edit] Tama

  • The Tama live in Chad and Sudan, the population is about 160,000.
  • The Tama in Sudan are using one of the dialects of the Tama language, the Tama in Chad are using Arabic, Chadian Spokenand the Tama language as secondary language.
  • The Tama are like chickens: killing them is a light and easy matter! So say the warring peoples of Chad. The Tama people are 100% Muslim and have been for 400 years. From eastern Chad to Darfur in Sudan, many have been displaced, are persecuted and have little or no recourse to justice. One Christian worker works among these people showing the love of Jesus through various humanitarian aid projects. Sadly the Tama have let hate consume them and further harden their hearts to the gospel. Intercede for the love of Jesus to penetrate their hearts, for them to know what they are worth in God's eyes.
