[edit] Resources for outreach to Moslems

  • After many decades of outreach amongst Muslims worldwide, there is now a common understanding that Muslims commonly come to faith in Christ in two ways. Many have a vision or dream of Jesus Christ, often as he appears in the first chapter of Revelation, stating that he is the way, the truth and the life. Other Muslims testify that a reading of the Bible or Bible portion convicts their hearts of its truth and authority and therein they find Jesus. The Lord’s promise in His word is it will not return to Him void (Isaiah 55:1). The gospel of Jesus Christ is the power of God for salvation (Romans 1:16) and can open the eyes of the spiritual blind. Abundant sowing of the word results in a spiritual harvest of men and women entering the Lord’s Kingdom. When the Lord speaks to Muslim peoples through vision and dreams, they are often miraculously led to a believer in Jesus who guides them to an understanding of who Jesus Christ is, through the Bible.

[edit] Answering Islam

At this web site there many books and booklets.

  • At this URL you find encouragement and help in a fanstastic book which is available as a pdf file on the web at the foillowing address: http://www.answering-islam.org/Books/Christensen/index.htm. This is an old book, written in 1977 (but the issues have not much changes since then) by Jens Christensen, who spent most of his life working among Pathans in the North-West Frontier province of Pakistan. He does not mince words, i.e he is very direct in his communication in the book. Many of you will disagree with some things he says, but I think this could be a book that God uses to make us all more effective in our work.
