  • The Kalmyk are mainly in the Republic of Kalmykia (capital - Elista) on the Volga-Don steppes northwest of the Caspian and north of the Caucasus, also in the lower Volga Region.

  • The entire Kalmyk-Oirat nation was packed into cargo trains in February 1944, and sent to Kazakhstan and Siberia. Many died along the way and all suffered horribly. In the late 1950s they were allowed to return to Republic of Kalmykia. Please pray for their spiritual liberation and restoration.
