[edit] Joshua Project
Joshua Project is a good resource for research about the the Least-Reached Peoples in this world. It provides statistics and information about the unreached people groups around the world.
[edit] Our Purpose ...
to spread a passion for the supremacy of God among all unreached peoples.
[edit] Our Mission ...
to highlight the people groups of the world that have the least Christian presence in their midst and to encourage pioneer church-planting movements among every ethnic people group.
[edit] Our Rationale ...
"This gospel of the Kingdom shall be preached in the whole world as a testimony to all the nations and then the end will come." Matthew 24:14
[edit] What does "Least-Reached" mean?
By "least-reached" Ethne and Joshua Project mean "a people group among which there is no indigenous community of believing Christians with adequate numbers and resources to evangelize this people group." The original Joshua Project editorial committee selected the critieria of less than 2% Evangelical Christian and less than 5% Christian Adherents. The terms Unreached People Group (UPG) and Least-Reached People Group are used interchangably.
[edit] Ethnê to Ethnê movement
The Joshua Project and the Ethnê to Ethnê movement work very close together.
