[edit] Create International

  • The Lord…is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance.” 2 Peter 3:9, NIV.
  • Give praise and thanksgiving to God for the vision HE is pouring out upon HIS people! HE is providing inspiration for new and innovative ways to reach people throughout the earth!
  • Create International is bursting with enthusiastic volunteers, brimming with inspiration for evangelistic and discipleship films, DVDs, audiotapes, and pod casts in the cultural and linguistic style of specific unreached peoples.

[edit] The Strategy

  • Create International, as a frontier mission communication ministry, is committed to producing evangelistic audio visuals in the heart language and cultural style of the people group they are created for. These resources equip workers reaching out to some of the least evangelized people groups in the world.

[edit] The Challenge

  • Nearly one third of the world's population is hidden from the Gospel because of social, cultural, and linguistic barriers. However, an even greater barrier prevents the unreached peoples from understanding the Christian message: illiteracy. Over 60% of the world's population cannot read or write, and an even higher percentage of illiteracy exists among unevangelized peoples. These peoples have no hope unless they are given an opportunity to see and hear the gospel message in a way that makes sense to them.

[edit] Evangelistic Websites

  • Create International produces different kinds of websites. Some of them are dedicated to bringing the gospel of Jesus Christ in a culturally relevant way to the World Wide Web community. Every day people are surfing the WWW to search for religious material and they need to hear (and read) about Jesus. They are committed to sharing the gospel in a relevant way using language and symbolism that speaks directly to the heart of the people.

[edit] DVD

  • Their DVD entitled “Contextual Gathering” shows six examples of how home fellowships can be contextualized to reach specific ethnic audiences, Hindi, Kurds, Turks, Indonesian, Urdu, and Thais, Subtitled in English. This DVD is a perfect follow-up of the Jesus Film to teach discipleship in a way that’s meaningful and effective in each culture within a home setting. Over 4,000 of the 10-11,000 Banjara people of India who have seen the DVD have responded favorably to the gospel. The Thai DVD is for people from a Thai Buddhist background, complete with indigenous instruments, dance, symbols and appropriate word choices.

[edit] EVANGELISTIC FILMS

  • Create International is focused on resourcing Christians around the world with a variety of evangelistic tools. Aiming to enhance one's personal witness and provide effective cross-cultural tools in multiple languages, their website tool box contains more than 800 external links to resources and informative articles. They now have a searchable database of hundreds of people groups with links to audio, video, and literature tools for evangelism and mission mobilization. Create International has just completed a new section of "FREELY downloadable evangelistic films" for more than 30 of the largest and least reached people groups! They are available in both Apple and PC compatible formats which are playable on any desktop, laptop, or portable media player. Please visit their "Indigitech" website and get equipped to reach the nations! Their resource website at: http://www.indigitech.net

[edit] Storytelling Booklets

  • One of the Create International teams, while trekking in the Himalayas, is distributing native-style art and storytelling booklets in the Tibetan tradition. They shared with some Buddhist nuns and monks who had never heard the gospel!

[edit] The Goals

  • The goal is to produce culturally specific evangelistic and mobilisation communication materials on all of the least evangelized mega people groups of the world. Special priority will be given to these 194 peoples with a population over one million.
