[edit] Church Planting
- Church planting is a process by which new church congregations are founded and established, particularly in areas where no church is presently active. This is usually accomplished with help from a denomination, a church planting center, a local church or churches, a network, a mission organisation, and/or other church planting resources. The term can be applied to the establishing of churches as a legal entity and organization, as well as establishing an organic simple church or house church, which may or may not be formally organized. Related to church planting is the idea of church planting movements.
[edit] Man of Peace
- In starting work in new areas, it is important to try and establish where God is working so that we might join Him. Often one of the signs that indicate God's hand at work in a particular area is the presence of a man of peace. Jesus says in Luke 10:6.7, "If a man of peace is there, your peace will rest on him... Remain in the same house, eating and drinking what they offer... Don't be moving from house to house." Church planters have to pray together with tjheir prayer partners, that these men of peace will be found to provide ease of access and acceptance in the community, for the salvation of these men of peace, and for the establishment of churches in the homes of these men of peace.

[edit] Church Planting in Thailand
- Praise the Lord with us, too. Jesus is becoming increasingly known in Thailand, and lives are being miraculously transformed! What a joy to speak of new Thai and Karen believers! But in our joy, we remember that each has an incredible journey ahead. Social conformity can be so strongly valued here. It can be a struggle for new followers of Jesus to break free from certain social trappings. Much wisdom and protection is needed.
