On the Homepage of the GDOP website, Global Day of Prayer, you will find a map of the world with information on which nations have already been registered for GDOP 2009 and those who have not yet been registered. There is hope, that all nations will register and take part on this vital day. Currently (30 April 2009) 213 nations have registered to participate in the Global Day of Prayer. The only outstanding nations are: Andorra, San Marino, Bahamas, British Virgin Islands, Dominica, Virgin Islands of USA and St Pierre & Miquelon. With only 30 days left, a historic moment in the history of mankind is still possible! They were an especially excited group since for many this was the first international Christian event they had ever attended. A large map of the world’s nations and unreached people groups about the size of two basketball courts enabled participants to walk, visualize and pray on it, making commitments to take the Gospel to those who have never heard. They adopted a number of startling goals such as the planting of over 2 million new churches by 2020. Let’s continue to pray for the achievement of these ambitious goals set in faith.

- 25 April 2010 - [15] Internet Evangelism Day, annual worldwide focus day to equip Christians for online outreach. How can Christians use this bewildering mix of technologies to share the good news? One place to find answers is Internet Evangelism Day's website. It provides detailed resources, ideas and strategies to help Christians use what many leaders have called a 'God-given medium'. These include a self-assessment tool for church websites, enabling them to better reach out into their communities: Internet Evangelism Day
15 years that changed the world
- “The last 15 years have changed our world for ever,” claims Tony Whittaker, co-ordinator of Internet Evangelism Day. “Digital media are transforming the way we communicate, behave and even think. If Facebook was a country, it would have the fourth largest population in the world.”
- Internet Evangelism Day is a strategic resource to help the worldwide church understand these issues and use the Web to share the good news. It is both a year-round online guide and an annual focus day - to be held this year on Sunday 25 April.
- Churches are encouraged to use Internet Evangelism Day resources to create a presentation for their members on or near that Sunday (or at any other time they choose). The IE Day site offers free downloads: PowerPoint, video clips, handouts, drama scripts, music and posters. These enable any church (or homegroup, college, or conference) to build a customized program, lasting from five minutes to fifty.
