This is a table of martyrs in the 20th century (1900-1999): people who died prematurely as a result of their faith in situations of witness.
- 1933: Missionary activity among the Uyghur people has been scarce. As a result of efforts by one Christian group at the turn of the century, about 300 Uyghur came to proclaim Christ as their Lord. All but a few were martyred in 1933 however, by Muslim persecutors "doing their duty."
- Ethopia: Two great waves of violent persecution under the Italians in 1936-41 and the Communists in 1974-1990 refined and purified the church, but there were many martyrs.
- January 22, 1999. India. Graham Staines and his two sons were sleeping in his Mahindra Jeep when it was set afire by a mob. Graham and his two sons were burnt alive.
